We were trying to learn how to live with the disease and still maintain some quality of life. Grace went from very stiff to very low muscle tone. We made plans to travel to Florida for Thanksgiving but worried Grace would not survive the trip. Thankfully she did but it was a difficult time. Grace developed seizures and her apnea episodes and medication regime dramatically increased.
