Smiles

Grace’s smile was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. It would start with a glimmer in her eyes, then a twinkle and a smirk, and finally a wide grin of joy. She would laugh and coo and I’ve never been happier than in those moments. Unfortunately Grace’s smile and laugh were the first milestones lost due to Krabbe disease.
