Sprinkles

Sprinkles was Grace’s constant companion. He is a purple and green hippopotamus and was, in his own way, a huge help to us as well. He was the first stuffed animal Grace had and the one that Grammy would hold up to Grace when she was first born. Later, as Grace regressed neurologically we would rub Grace’s hand over his fur to provide her tactile stimulation. He would also help hold Grace’s oxygen mask. He would hug her chest and we could drape the oxygen tubing and mask across his back and he would hold it in place. When the time came he was an obvious choice to keep her company at the viewing and funeral. We are so happy to have him as a reminder of our sweet girl.
